At our office, we aim to offer our clients a comfortable and relaxing experience during their VI chemical peel treatment. The entire process usually takes about 30 minutes. It begins with cleansing the skin, followed by applying the solution. You may experience a mild tingling or burning sensation during the treatment, which is completely normal. Afterward, the peel remains on your skin for 4 hours before cleansing. You will continue the peel process with post-care products and instructions at home.
Is there any downtime after getting a VI chemical peel?
Most patients do not experience significant downtime after a VI chemical peel. However, you might notice some redness and peeling in the days following the treatment. This is a normal part of the exfoliation process and should subside within a week.
